On April 19, 2018, the Jiangsu Provincial Work Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau organized the experts from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Technology, Test Center of the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security of PRC, China Academy of Safety Science and Technology, Tianjin Fire Research Institute of MPS, National Defense Engineering Research Institute of the Academy of Military Sciences, Tongji University, Beijing Institute of Technology, China Academy of Engineering Physics and other units to carry out acceptance on “Anti-explosion Shelter Technology Research”, a key scientific research project for major accident prevention and control of the National Work Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau in 2016, jointly undertaken by Dragon Industries, Sinopec, PetroChina and the PLA Ground Force University of Engineering.

The panel unanimously recognized that the project undertakers had completed the technical research objectives stipulated in the assignment book and the technology had reached the advanced level in China, and agreed that the project had passed the acceptance. The panel suggested that the project undertakers should apply the anti-explosion shelter technology to more areas such as military field and anti-terrorism. In the meantime, they expected that Dragon Industries, as a domestic leader in explosion protection, should continue to make more contributions to society.

The leaders of the Work Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau of Dafeng District and Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province attended the project acceptance meeting.
